Ross & Anglin is one of Montreal's oldest businesses — a leading Canadian industrial construction company with a long family history.

Like many long-established businesses, Ross & Anglin did not have a presence on the web. Their clients knew who they were, and the company had excellent word of mouth.

A Brick & Mortar Business

Despite their success, the company was looking to save costs and provide easy access to information about itself. The company reasoned that it was far cheaper to update a web site on a regular basis rather than publishing a new corporate brochures whenever a major project was completed.

Also, more and more people expect even a traditional construction firm to have an online presence, even if just for contact information.

Web Design

Digital Wind collaborated with Ross & Anglin on the personality for their web presence. We settled on a strong visual approach, showcasing the work that Ross & Anglin has done for major clients such as Bombardier, Bowater, Domtar, and Ontario Hydro.

The main page features series of images (which load in a random order every time the page is visited) that illustrate generally the type of work the company does. Within the site are galleries of work done for specific clients in recent years.

Digital Wind also provided original photography from Ross & Anglin work sites at Bowater in Gatineau, and Bombardier in Montreal.
